Keego Motorized Skylight Cellular Shades

We ordered this product in February, and after using this shade for a month, we feel it's time to provide a fair review.

Overall Experience:
This was the only seller I could find offering oversized shades (I needed a 72-inch width). However, the motor I received did not function properly.
I reached out to customer service, and they responded promptly, offering me a replacement motor. They also provided PDF instructions for installation and setting up the motor and remote. At the same time,they provide detailed video instructions. If you're struggling with installation, I recommend searching for their videos. In my case, the support strings were placed on the wrong side of the black roller, causing the shade to extend and collapse in the opposite direction related to the movement of the two end brackets, which led to it getting stuck when running the motor. I identified this issue by watching instructional videos and manually drilled new holes to reposition the strings correctly.

Final Verdict:
I’m giving 5 stars, mainly due to their excellent customer service and the high-quality shade itself (only seller provide oversize shade). While the initial experience with the motor was frustrating, their support team was helpful in resolving the issue.

The shade is very nice and works well. Unfortunately I chose the battery operated remote over the solar operated motor thinking it would be easier for me. But the only way I can see to recharge the motor of the shade is to remove the shade by unscrewing the frame and bringing down off my sky light that is in a 15 foot ceiling. So I will have to call the contractor back to do it. If there is another way, I don't know about it because it did not have directions with it, only a pamphlet to operate the remote.

The measurements were exactly as I have requested and it works really well. The installation was a nothing too challenging. I'm very pleased with this product and recommend it for anyone who needs to block out sunlight!

We got the shade to help my Mom. She loves it! The neighbors sensor lights do not wake her now. It was easy to install, nice video and instructions. Just make sure you measure correctly. Fit was perfect.
