Bought these for my art studio.
I was in a temporary art studio at the world trade center, and they wouldn't let me install shades that needed drilling. Luckily I used these shades, they've worked great!
They let a lot of outside light into the house but completely obscure details. These are perfect for when you want privacy without sacrificing outside light. And extremely easy to install.
I grew tired of my outdated blinds and replaced them with this shade. The immediate difference is this.... The blinds, when closed would block quite a lot of light. This blind, when drawn, does not block light. Instead it diffuses it and still lights up a room, but with soft ambient light instead of the harshness of raw light.
